This document is written for the protection of the Breeder, the Buyer and the Puppy. To the best of Breeder’s knowledge the puppy is in good health at the time of sale. Puppy is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, dewormings and general health care. Buyer should have puppy checked by a state licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase, and is urged to do so.
Breeder guarantees that all precautions have been taken with parents to ensure puppy will be healthy and live a normal life. This guarantee is in effect until puppy reaches 2 years. In the event of a "proven" genetic pre-existing life threatening medical condition, that will prevent puppy from living a normal life, the puppy will be replaced with one of equal value and same gender at the earliest availability. All transportation fees will be the responsibility of the buyer. Any genetic health issues must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian, and must be backed up with test results from a licensed laboratory. Breeder reserves the right to request second opinion and additional testing. It is to be clearly understood that Breeder assumes absolutely no responsibility of medical expense, once puppy is with new owner. Breeder is to be notified immediately via phone of any genetic health issue, and in writing within 24 hours.
This guarantee does NOT cover any contagious disease after 3 days after purchase, nor does it cover umbilical hernias, intestinal parasites (rarely occurs, but it can happen). Nor do any issue caused by neglect or improper feeding. Puppy should be fed a Premium adult food. Seminole feeds Taste of the Wild, a grain free premium food, there are many brands out there.
In the event there is a dispute should arise concerning this health guarantee and cannot be resolved by Breeder/Buyer, any and all legal action instigated by the Buyer shall be filed in Summers County, West Virginia
